cumbersome though it may be: usually you will get the webkitthing when you first try to post, and the post will fail. If you then go ahead and post again it will post with all the garbage. What you have to do is hit the back button and you will get a clean posting window again, with your original stuff. Then hit preview. If the preview comes up clean, then hit post. If the preview does not come up clean, hit back, and preview again until it does come up clean. Sometimes it take one, sometimes 4 or five times.

While other browsers seem to handle this ok, the problem seems to be some non-compliant stuff returned from the server. Damned annoying though.
