that IF you can find a piece of teak milled to 1/2" thickness by > 7" in a short length like 2' you will be paying through the nose for it. I have seen some pieces of teak like this in a WM store and they were quite expensive. I ended up going to M L Condon in White Plains and selected a 10' 1"x10" and paid about $100 for it about 6 years ago. I have a bunch of teak on my boat so it was worth having the extra for odd repairs. I still have a few usable pieces. Really depends on your location so the list by state should be helpful.
