I had the pleasure of meeting Bill at a Crusader Yacht Sales spring event. Crusader is the Pacific Seacraft mid Atlantic dealer.

I can remember his talk, particularly his "defense" of his canoe stern designs. He said that there will be times offshore when you will appreciate the stern of your boat looking like the bow, because it will have to act like a bow in following seas. I suppose he was right, but only in rather extreme offshore conditions, which is of course what PSCs were designed for.
