and opted out based on some discussion with my sailmaker. I believe Bainbridge has something similar called Ocean Plus. My understanding is that although they may prevent a long tear, the cloth may be strechier than straight dacron because the blend can't take the same temperature induced shinking process. I could be wildly off base here but that was the opinion I recieved. I thought the Hood Vectran seemed better but there isn't any Canadian lofts anymore. Cheers, David
