In Response To: Yanmar oil evacuation pump ()

I looked for the Yanmar EPP1. I think that's the unit that you would have for your engine?

psyberspace.com.au/yanmar/installationmanual.pdf I think it's listed as an accessory the engine. I can't find a picture of the EPP1 either. What is the EPP1 supposed to be? Automated or? Does it have a removable tank that you can then offload or what?

What were you looking for, there may be a simpler system that you could set-up if you want to have one engineered.

I've seen more automated oil transfer systems for evacuation on larger engines -- like on VERY BIG diesels on powerboats. Those were manifolded together with a group of valves for muliple engines. They were connected into the sumps of the engines. The went to BIG OIL Holding tanks. These were "custom" systems.
