Lake Lanier is FULL (pic)

Actually several inches above full pool. This after a series of heavy rains over the last few weeks flooded many communities in Georgia. Several lives were lost, mostly due to driving into or being caught by overflowing streams and rivers.

The drought and Corps of Engineers policies pulled the lake down over 18 feet. Most ramps were unusable for well over a year. I could not get to the travel lift to haul out for painting or to the pump out although there was water to sail. Many boating related business ventures are gone or on the brink. One that did well was a mobile pump out service.

The weather here is cool and Fall / Spring are the best seasons for wind...time to go! Kevin
