In Response To: Has anyone tried this Dripless Moldable Packing that Defender sells? (link) (pic) ()

but the dripless (green) packing had melted (yikes!) the plastic (double yikes!!) stuffing box on my boat when I bought it. Now it is a real, Buck, bronze stuffing box.
