anchored in a little cove at DeSoto Natl Park. Just after we anchored we watched two boats sai the anchors out and head away. Later we counted FIVE boats under sail in the river at one time. Towards evenIng a largishketch sailed in to anchor.

Then just after dark we watched a sloop come ghosting in upriver-he was maybe making half a knot, but he slowly slid by.

So there ARE placs where folks still actually sail;)
