Marsh is just an agent. Our actual coverage was with Ace/Inamar. A year and a half ago Marsh transferred our account from a local office (5 minutes from my house) to an office in Iowa or Nebraska. Of course they didn't tell us. I only found a week before my renewal date because I had not gotten a renewal notice. I had a good deal of trouble getting any information or a renewal notice from the new office (I never got the renewal notice), so I changed to a local independent agent - same insurance policy. I have heard that quite a few other boaters got the same treatment. The reason boiled down to - "Your account doesn't generate enough revenue".
