Every picture tells a story. This is a boat I wouldn't want to be on.
The company I work for has two Hanse 400s headed from Bermuda to St. Thomas. Both have "Spot" tracking devices, so I can get the coordinates for each, which I plot on Google Earth. I read the weather charts each morning and plot those as well.
Because a low looked like it was going to pass fairly close to the boats, I decided to check on them this morning from home before heading to work. It seems that a low has moved farther east than predicted and just run both of the Hanses over. One boat got plastered by it.
Sometimes it's good to be an armchair sailor. :)
