As for your wireless, the software probably powers down the adapter on hibernate, but doesn't have the smarts to power it up again on wake-up. Some laptops have a hardware switch near the keyboard or on the edge to power off the wireless adapter, and that switch is a "toggle" that can also power it on. Perhaps pressing that switch is your solution. Alternatively, you can try going into the "properties" of the adapter and disable power-off under software control, and that *might* also solve it if the OS doesn't wake up with that software "toggle" set to off. ...Just guesses.
