most of it is kids on ponies in support of a local horsemans association that is geared toward new riders. The venue is at the edge of a larger sports park and there are almost no views which don't incorporate a horrendous background of light poles, fences and other miscellany like the food vendors trailer.
I like shooting it to support the organization, I usually give away more pictures for their newletter than I sell. The kids prefer just to send the link to friends so, it costs them nothing to share them.
I post on a number of websites where photos are evaluated pretty brutally when need be and belong to a club where we do things like this every month. Actual criticism from other photographers actually helps you grow.
I did actually leave out the point that shooting a low rear view of a full growed woman with a wide angle lens and posting it on the 'net is a recipe for disaster. But, I figured that was a personal matter.
