Passwords, profiles. Criminey. Maybe I got it now.
Ron, I've been very intersted in the Cape Horn so I did a lot of research. I've found that everyone I asked likes theirs very much. Two cautions: One is that the forces on the control lines from the Cape Horn quadrant to the boat's quadrant are great, so the leading blocks must be robust and well-mounted (glassed to the hull, etc.) and the lines must be of top quality. One owner was shocked at how quickly his original lines chewed through. The better rope seemed to solve the problem. The other warning was that it's not necessarily a case of install, set, enjoy. There's an art to tweaking the thing and learning to balance the system with a bit of a learning curve. The Cape Horn remains on my list, but other things are ahead of it, especially as my sailing has become less bold lately. But I continue to ask everyone I see who has one, and I've never heard anyone who regretted it.
