I can't see what Honeywell would do with Ray. The company can't be in too useful state. Garmin could have bought them for less than the capitalization value, did their due diligence and then bailed out. Garmin knows the inside state of Ray well now and probably figured that their product line would do just fine against another possible competitor that bought Ray and that Ray wasn't going to last on its own. Ray had too many incompatible new products, with too much costly marketing, financed by too much debt. I won't miss them.
