of the great early plastic boats. there's one hauled out in westland marina in titusville that the owner has been rebuilding for at least five years with little progress, but hopefully he will eventually preserve it.

i also saw one in the keys at alabama jacks docks that was cutter rigged. i thought the owner had changed the rig but he said that a very few were built as cutters rather than ketches.

glad to hear that mr. gillmer lived to the ripe old age of 98.
