I'm not sure if the format is the culprit or just attrition due to the passage of time and the slow but continuing change that alway takes place.

On the flip side, I could reason that others should take the place of those that no longer post.

Sometimes I wonder why I still post on this sight. I was a regular poster on the Cruising World BB for 4 years before Phil picked it up when Cruising World magazine couldn't handle the personalities and dropped the format.

I still find the new personalities fresh and interesting but at the same time miss the posts by Herb, Bernie, Bob Perry, and a number of others that have, for the most part, moved on.

I remember back in Jr. College the phrase, 'All there is, is change'. Perhaps that's all it is,,,, change.
