Just talked with a guy who had an 8 o'clock flight out of somwhere in Florida. They boarded the plane but couldn't take off because of ice on the wings. They backed the plane out of the boarding area and parked it in the sunlight. Took about an hour for the sun to melt the ice. Plane crew said they were lucky, the day before, it took more than 2 hours for the ice to melt. They had icycles hanging down to the ground from the engines the day before.
Don't you just love global warming.
