maybe just wash in a machine with a standard ration of bleach?

Other than bleaching fabrics, I use bleach in a spray bottle all around the house and boat. Mildew in the shower, mildew on the boat surfaces from this humid assed climate we live in, even mold on the siding. On the side of house and garage, I spray it on with a windex bottle and by the time I get back with a hose to spray it off, it has disappeared. Wonderful, wonderful.
