I just downloaded the latest software version for my Garmin 5212...I just happen to check a few points that I was familiar with...like bridge heights. A bridge near me has a clearance of 18 feet...My Garmin now shows verticle clearance on that bridge of 54 feet...yikes what the hell happened. I then check a few other bridges I'm familiar with like the Sunshine Skyway Bridge on Tampa Bay...Chart Says verticle clearance of 175 ft. My Garmin is telling me 574ft. I talked to Garmin about it..... BTW the tech had the same info of 574ft. I gave them Lat/Lon for every bridge I checked. Have not heard back yet. Will let you know.
