Nope, Friday.
In Response To: Wednesday? ()

Galley, er, kitchen is coming together.

Here's the old galley, from Wednesday http://cruising.sailboatowners.com/csbb/index.cgi/page/1/md/read/id/160859/sbj/the-new-galley/

I worked with a local cabinet-maker and kitchen installer, which saved some money and made sure the job was done right. Installing the cabinetry and counters was a lot more difficult than I expected. I suppose it's all a matter of experience, but having rebuilt a good part of our boat interior, I feel more comfortable doing that kind of work, probably b/c in some ways it's less exacting, if more difficult (nothing is square, etc.) --a house kitchen has to look good, whereas while you want a boat interior to look nice too, you don't notice small 'flaws' as much...something like that...perhaps b/c of all the joints and angles and shorter runs of space as compared to a kitchen, which has lots more space, so your eye can see the flaws more easily?
