at the west end of Golden Gate Park... beautiful view of the Pacific with huge storm driven waves crashing on Seal Rock. Kept waiting for the Tsunami... there were lifeguard crews and the CG helo and lots of news folks and beach walkers all waiting to see "the wave." As far as I could tell, nothing happened.

The waves were huge in of themselves... so if there was a change of 3-4 feet, there would be no way to know.
