I’d like to announce something sort of important..to me at least.

As most of you know and most of you really don’t care; I have had a relationship now with Valiant, the Factory and the Folks that build them, now for over some twenty years. First, when I bought my Valiant 40, hull number 282 back in 1992, lived aboard her and sailed her some 25K offshore miles.

A year and half ago, Kate and I took delivery of our new Valiant 42, Mahalo, hull 181. Out of all of the Valiant 42s built so far, which is 86, Mahalo was their most timely and costly build to date. She pretty much reflects what the Craftsmen at Valiant can truly build. Our Mahalo will be in this year’s Annapolis Boatshow.

Valiant has made RogueWave Yacht Sales their Official Mid-Atlantic and Southeast USA Dealer. Official announcements in Sailing Publications will be soon made. Valiant finally realized that we sailed backwards farther than all the Valiant Dealers that they currently have sailed forward, plus we are the only Valiant Dealer that owns and sails one. That is a powerful statement for them and for us, having someone that actually believes in the Product, spent some 600K on her, and sails her a far. Plus in the last 3 years, we sold more used Valiants then all of the Dealers put together.

This is turning into a real full time job again.
