I had a Nobletec unit with a splitter too -- before we got a Furuno Class B Unit. The Nobeltec unit is now with a friend in the South Pacific. He said it's working fine.

We run Nobeltec VNS Suite on our PC along with some plot charters on the Furuno and Northstar units.
