and I admit I always had a little problem with the mental math in step 1 ("1. Prepare a chlorine solution using one gallon of water and 1/4 cup (2 oz) Clorox or Purex household bleach (5% sodium Hypochlorite solution ). With tank empty, pour chlorine solution into tank. Use one gallon of solution for each 5 gallons of tank capacity." )

That always seemed convoluted; because you have to dilute, then dilute the diluted mixture, and then convert to the actual amount needed for your tank size. I have a problem storing intermediate results sets when trying to do mental math.

It's a whole lot easier to just say 1/4 cup (2 oz.) per 5 gallons.
