I'm sure it's a bit of a disappointment, but without self-steering she'd be in a world of hurt. Shame they didn't fit a wind vane, or bring along a case of autopilots. They're always a weak link.

She's done well regardless. A circumnavigation, stops or not, around the capes, is something most of us will never do. Even if it ends up as a solo non-stop from Cabo to Cape Town, good on her for doing it.
