Tripoli Buffing compound

Standard 'rouge' for stainless steel, when power buffing with a fabric wheel is "TRIPOLI" ... a special mixture of white clay and fine 'diatomaceous earth'. Nothing is faster, or more brilliant, than buffing with tripoli. Of course you need to sand down to 400-600 grit before you power buff with a fabric wheel and "tripoli". This will produce a 'mirror-finish' - the more mirror-like the better to prevent 'rust', etc. Best is to mirror-polish followed by electropolishing; but, some dont like the 'satinization' that electro-polishing gives.
