I think it's great news. Probably the best option for boaters. Raymarine was going somewhere and FLIR is as good or better than anyone as a buyer. FLIR has been trying to break into the recreational marine market for a while, so this gives them the brand they need. Raymarine probably keeps the brand name, for a good while anyway.

Hopefully now they can get some cash and build my damn autopilot system I ordered in March!!
