A design is just a design until you see it in the flesh.

Working on my boat last week, I saw one of these arrive on a trailer at the public landing. I couldn't quite place it but could see by how it sat on the trailer it was a new shoal draft design. I didn't pay too much attention as I worked but looked later to see it rigged. Next time I looked, it was in the water at the docks. Not long after, I looked up to see the sails up, and it pushed off on warm westerly wind and broad reached out of the harbor. I like this Roger Martin design which evolved from his Outward Bound 30 design of just a few years ago. I thought it made sense. Then having seen it in use, it does make sense. It sails fast I can tell you.
