In the 15 knot southwesterly, jib and jigger were all we needed to sizzle through.

The "dudes" faces onboard this old schooner were in awe as telephone pole sized spars bent to the gusty winds that sent the big boats flying through this ancient winding path between the islands.

No doubt they rode the reaching winds all the way to the Merchant Islands to anchor for the night. They all got their moneys worth on that sail.
