Side note: The entire deck and cabin are made from MDO ply. I've had such good luck with MDO over the years both interior and exterior. There are fillets at the joints of deck and cabin, etc but those surfaces will not be 'glassed, just primed and painted.

Further: I'll be using 100% acrylic latex for all the above waterline surfaces. In those areas where there is no actual wood, I'll use latex primer and that includes bare wood double coated with epoxy for sealing.

Time will tell.
