I had my wheel recovered a couple years ago with that nice, slightly greyish/green material, whatever it is ... it felt a little dry today when I took the inaugural motor around to our anchorage. Should I be putting anything on it to keep it supple, that won't leave every helmsperson rubbing their oily mitts when they're done?
