We have to see how well JA handled sitting for 18 months and how my wife recuperates from an upcoming surgery. We may sail next door to Apia and chance cyclone season in the marina there. She wants to go to NZ, I want to go to Majuro. If things look good we'll go to NZ, I don't want to get too far west yet, we have much to see here in the central Pacific, Tonga, Fiji, Wallis Island. I was talking to some Kiwis and they suggested you can sail as late as December to NZ, miss some gales but keep an eye out for cyclones. We may even try to cut back to Christmas or Fanning Island. It's all up in the air right now, I have to have tunnel vision and just get JA ready to sail. If we get a house sold, I'd love to go to NZ and put some new standing rigging on the boat and ad a solent rig for easier old people sailing.
