Bad news, the delivery skipper did not read my email with the directions so did not find our slip. The boat is tied up on the end of a dock.......I am hoping that the dock is at least in our club and not one of the others on the bayfront. He is taking a nap right now.

He also reports that the broker did not clean the boat at all as instructed, sails were not bent on as instructed, so I will be getting charged for his labor to get the sails on. Do I blame him? Heck no! I really have no recourse with the broker at this point. No, they did not do the things they said they would do, but they didn't charge me for not doing them either.

The captain also said the shaft packing is leaking pretty good, although the broker said it was not at their dock.

I guess this has been a series of lessons learned for me. At least I will have the boat in my possession in a few hours and can just move on from there.
