In Response To: A recommendation for an SSB receiver? ()

Went with a portable SONY short wave radio - it was the overwhelming choice for some reason - I had always used a Yacht Boy by Grundig before we got our Icom transceiver. Have to admit though, the Sony beats the Grundig in actual performance field tests.
