I keep my boat on a mooring in Belfast, so I know some nooks and crannies......try Tom Cod Cove in the Holbrook Island area near Castine. Also Smith Cove in the same area......there is also a little cove called Crow cove on the west side of Islesboro just north of where the ferry lands......small but really good protection except from due west......check the guide....

My opinion is that this is gonna be a minor event this far up the bay.....but you never know.
