We have almost 900 amps worth of batteries. The boat has been left for 3 months in Bocas and the battery voltage was still 12.35.
I told the marina manager that's checking on the boat to monitor the voltage. If it gets to 12.2, flip the switch on the Kiss wind generator. There's wind in the afternoon enough to slowly charge the batteries back. With 900 amps it's impossible to over charge them. I was going to leave the wind generator on but thought that it was just going to put wear on it so I turned it off on the panel.
At least that's the plan. So far she's been unplugged for about a month. The manager sent me an email saying the voltage was at 12.55. He checks it once a week and,, we have a high water alarm in the cockpit for him to hear.
