I have been keeping my boat in Rockland so have been trying to figure out good hurricane holes. For Earl I went to Southern Harbor and was the only boat there - it's well protected from the north but not so protected from any swells. I looked at Long Cove on the chart but not sure if it would hold a lot of boats if everyone headed there. Glad it was a non-event for all of us - I woke up ~ 3 AM and was thinking where the heck is all this wind we're supposed to be getting?
