Just checked the price of Tacktick and yeah it's "doable," but it just seems a bit costly for a sensor and display. Of course it is wireless.

I have instruments for Depth, Speed and water temp (the latter quite nice for a swimmer/diver), but I have nothing for wind... The TackTick T033 would fit my needs.

You old salts have any other suggestions?

I am pretty good at estimating wind, (racing has tuned that pretty well) but it would be a nice to have thing, to see a display.
