Reading posts on CSBB... thinking about repairs, seeing recommendations for beefier chain plates and the like... verses the state of mind when actually on the boat, touching the boat, thinking about the weather... launching into a fine day with clear skies and relatively flat sea, getting the sails up and feeling the wind in your face... sipping a cool adult beverage as the hull glides through the water while on a nice reach with everything trimmed just so.
The contrast between thinking about what repairs need to be made and how to best accomplish these repairs verses being out in weather and feeling the boat surge along with the shifting winds... Where's Jon... I need some fine words here.
It's like trying to balance serious with fantasy.
Stop day dreaming boy, get back to work. GRIN
