My mistake, Haven't had my first cup of coffee yet.

OK, I screwed up with the price. More like $3,500.00. I forgot that when I said the $2,000 it was for Raymarines offer of 1/2 price for the corepack and control head. I realized it after posting. $3,500 is a lot more than $2,000.00
Never believe anything I say if it has to do with price. I usually tell the Admiral I don't want to know or convince myself that I really didn't spend as much as I did. ( Raymarine did give me a hell of a price on the replacement one )
When you're talking autopilots I try not to think about the price. I just want a good one.

- Well, if it's a back-up, then I'd go with a Raymarine (former Autohelm) below decks unit; and UPSIZE the ram to the max.
