The show is held the first week of December now and since about 3 years, it is a combined sail and power show, now. I went to the show this week. It has gotten smaller and a couple of vendors I expected to be there (because they always were in the past) were not in attendance. There even were a couple of empty booths. Of course, the power side of the show was much larger than sail. Unlike in past years, there were many used boats being shown and for sale. For a power boater, there are some really good deals at this show, which runs through Sunday evening. The constant vendor is Garhauer. They have a large booth and great deals, as always. I could not resist. Worst Marine was not there. JSI is as well as the usual hodge-podge of gadgets and stuff. Even vinyl windows. ... ... All in all, it is a nice attraction if you live in town or nearby. If you have to drive a couple of hours to get here, then you might as well plan an going on and visit Lauderdale or Miami for a "real' boat show.
