Gotta confess, I'm really feeling the cold more than I used to, turning into a wimp in my old age, I suppose... Just bought a new Patagonia down jacket off eBay, my old one was getting pretty tired, so I guess I'm good to go again for a few more years yet...

I brought a Trintella 47 down from Maine to Annapolis last month, that trip was pretty chilly at the start, the first night crossing the Gulf of Maine was "brisk", to say the least... I was huddled up under the hard dodger most of the time, heat cranked up down below, but I still managed to resist the temptation to rig the enclosure around the back of the cockpit... Hell, if you make it too cozy and comfortable, then staying awake becomes the main problem... (grin)
