It has been one heck of a fall with record rainfall and flooding. This week we have been getting the crap kicked out of us for 3 days by a wicked Nor'easter that arrived with the full moon and it's high tides. 60 kts of wind and a storm surge has damaged a lot of the coastal area with flooding. Several marinas have been damaged. I've gotten off lightly with some damage to the boat's tarp. It's forecast to peter out tomorrow so we'll be celebrating Christmas for a couple reasons this year! I watched the news last night and saw that they have been flooded in the Carolinas and damned near washed away in California so we aren't the only ones.
