Health insurance in Connecticut sucks. It's outrageously expensive and the coverage is poor compared to what I had in New York. The company I was insured with (Cigna) is pulling out of CT and I had to sign up with a crappy company quickly to maintain coverage.
I'm shopping around for replacement insurance. I really, really like HMOs. The cost is reasonable, the care is fine, and the paperwork is zip. Since I'm getting close to retirement, can anyone recommend a health insurance company that covers "out of network" services at a reasonable price, preferably an HMO? Yeah, I know, asking a lot of an HMO since most are regional.
