Got the following message a short time ago from the Nor'Sea Group. Thought it might be of interest to a couple of members on the board.

Nor'Sea Sailors and Wannabees:

How about bringing your boat and/or curiosity to Dana Point in Sunny Southern California for a gathering of some of the NS fleet? The owners of Kristina #20, Sanity #30 and FUTHARK #227 will be there in the Dana Point Marina's Guest Slips (www.danapointmarina.com) on the weekend of April 30 - May 1, 2011 and would welcome your company.

Although we, Scott Turner of Dana Point and Alan Jorgensen of San Diego, have noodled about a program and had contact with others who've done similar Sail-Ins in Oakland, CA, we are, at this point, concerned primarily with getting a feel for interest in such an event. Numbers. Willingness to make it happen. Further development of the event will benefit from owner input and we welcome discussion about that here on the Nor'Sea Yahoo Forum.
