There's not too much interesting to read on our blog yet since Pam and I are not cruising anywhere, just living aboard, but I thought I'd blog about it to see how blogging worked. I also figured a few people might follow it, mainly family and friends to see what goofball stuff we're doing, and maybe a few others interested in how insane it is to live aboard a boat in winter in Connecticut. The blog has been up for less than three weeks.
I use blogspot.com. People can follow blogs on blogspot.com and leave comments. If the person has a blogspot account I can view his profile, which I do because I'm a nosey bastard. I followed one commenter to his/her profile and it has a website on it called trawlerblogs.com, so I went to there to check it out, and there we were- Drift Away.
There was a spike in page views yesterday, no doubt partly because of Trawlerblogs.com. If the blog becomes really popular, there is an option I can use to insert banner ads on my blog and earn money. I need to figure out how to make it interesting. I'll have to start inserting photos of curvey women in bikinis or something.
