My boat left yesterday from Seabrook Texas to Ft. Lauderdale where we are going to put her on a Dockwise ship for the ride back to the Caribbean.
I couldn't get enough time away from the office to make the passage so I have a delivery crew moving the boat for me. Yesterday morning as they were getting ready to leave, it appears that the masthead transducer for the ST-50 wind instrument choose that moment to die. Instrument shows power (dashes where the wind speed should be and the ability to toggle between true and apparent). Boat will be in Lauderdale for three days or so between the time the deliver crew brings it into Lauderdale and the time I load it onto the ship.
1. Can I still find a compatible masthead transducer.
2. Any recommendations as to who to contact in Lauderdale to change it out.
