When the wind direction has an S in it, Menemsha is very pleasant. We dinghy in to the small harbor and buy fresh fish at the dock. Sometimes we get fresh lobster and chowder and eat it on paper at the beach right there. There are public showers that use quarters and we can take a bus (or cab if in a hurry) from there to anywhere else on the island in a lot less time than we could sail to Edgartown.
