Like any plastic they will get brittle with UV time.

() If they attach in a way that is easily replaceable, and not with double sided sticky tape, I'd say they'd be ok. If you have to glue them on in any way, I'd say they're good for a few years, no more. Then you have to remove the broken ones and do the clean up of the stick'em.
