... I take them off every year or so, give them a good soapy wash and look-see, but how do I know if it's doing what it's suppose to be doing ? And I assume there is no correct orientation of the Flapper on the Duckbill, as long as the flapper portion if pointed down, or into the Vented Loop and not towards the cap ?
